Manuscript Preparation

  1. 01

    Use the IEEE Conference Template

Submitted papers must follow the double-column A4 IEEE Conference Template. Articles must not exceed 5 pages, including references. There are no additional pages between the initial and final submission. Pictures and bios must not be included as they are not in the IEEE conference template.
  2. 02

Papers must be written in English. Articles must be original work by the co-authors not previously published. Accepted papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Authors are required to pay an Author Registration fee for publication.

02 · Checklist

Important Notes

To avoid alarms and issues when uploading your manuscript.

01

Verify margins

Verify margins are properly set to prevent EDAS rejection, as PDF/A conversion from Word/LaTeX can modify margins. Ensure your PDF margin settings match the IEEE templates exactly.

02

Check graphics and figures

Check that graphics, pictures, and drawings do not invade side, top, or bottom margins.

03

Delete embedded Internet links

Delete all Internet embedded links from your PDF. This will trigger an alert during the 'Review Paper' upload and will cause rejection at the 'Final Paper' upload stage.

04

Include all authors in EDAS

All authors must create an EDAS account and be included in the same order as listed on the paper's first page. The authors' order must match both EDAS paper registration and the PDF manuscript.

05

Avoid reusing material

Avoid reusing material from previous works. Cite your own work or other co-authors' work if required to avoid high similarity scores (plagiarism).

03 · Submission

Manuscript Submission

  1. 01

    Submit via EDAS

Upload your manuscript through the EDAS conference submission portal: edas.info/N35083. For author instructions, see the EDAS Author Instructions.
  2. 02

    Paper limits per author

The maximum number of papers that an author can upload to EDAS is two. The number of papers in which one is a co-author is not limited. Each Author Registration fee allows the presentation of up to two papers at the conference.
  3. 03

    Include all co-author data

Do not forget to include other authors and their complete data (name, affiliation, e-mail). All authors and the authors' order must match EDAS paper registration and the PDF manuscript.
  4. 04

    Presentation preference

Authors will be asked for their preference between oral and poster sessions. However, the final decision on this matter will be made by the technical committee.
  5. 05

Complete IEEE eCopyright (final submission only)

Before uploading the final paper (not required for the initial submission), the first author must complete the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (ECF) in EDAS.
04 · Evaluation

Review Process

Three external reviewers will be assigned by the technical committee to each paper. Based on the reviewers' judgments and scores, papers receive one of three classifications:

Outcome

Acceptance

Paper meets all requirements and is accepted for publication and presentation.

Outcome

Minor Revision

Authors must adequately address the reviewers' suggestions, as considered by the technical committee, for the paper to be accepted for IEEE Xplore.

Outcome

Rejection

Paper does not meet the standards required for acceptance at this conference.

The review process follows the high standards set by IEEE. Both acceptance and minor revision will be accepted for conference presentations. See the IEEE Plagiarism Policy for details on originality requirements.

05 · Certificates

Certificates for Authors & Presenters

Download your certificate

Each author or presenter can download their certificate from the paper page in EDAS, once the conference has concluded.
