Call for Abstracts

Submitted abstracts are evaluated by the Technical Committee. English and Spanish are accepted (English preferred). Accepted abstracts are presented at the conference and compiled in the Conference Book of Abstracts.

Book of Abstracts

Abstracts will not be indexed in IEEE Xplore, but will be compiled in a Conference Book of Abstracts. Authors seeking publication and indexing should consider the Call for Papers track instead.

01 · Categories

Submission Categories

Authors must select the category that best fits their submission at the time of upload.

Student

Preliminary work not yet mature for a full paper.

Intended for preliminary work by students that has not yet reached the maturity or scope required for a full paper submission. A space to share work in progress, early results, or thesis-related explorations, and to receive feedback from the academic and professional community.

Researcher

Recent research without full paper review process.

Intended for recent research work that authors wish to present at the conference without going through the full paper submission and review process. Well suited for sharing recently published results, ongoing projects, or work to disseminate in shorter form.

Industry / Professional

Technological developments from industry.

Intended for technological developments from the industrial sector or professionals. Accommodates both work that has not yet reached the maturity of a full paper, and work whose authors prefer to participate without committing to a full paper submission. Expected to highlight applied or practical contributions.

Note: this conference accepts technological developments in the Call for Papers track as well.

02 · Preparation

Abstract Preparation

Submitted abstracts must include all of the following elements:

    Title

    A clear and descriptive title for your submission.
  2. 02

    Authors and affiliations

    Full list of authors and their institutional affiliations.
  3. 03

    Abstract text (max. 1000 words)

    Abstract text of no more than 1000 words, excluding references.
  4. 04

    References

    References included separately and not counted in the word limit.
  5. 05

    Selected category

    Select the appropriate category: Student, Researcher, or Industry / Professional.
  6. 06

    Presentation preference

    Authors' preference between oral and poster presentation. The final decision will be made by the Technical Committee based on the program structure and the nature of the contribution.
03 · Evaluation

Submission & Evaluation

Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Technical Committee. Each submission is evaluated according to its category. Authors are asked to indicate their preference between oral and poster presentation; the final decision rests with the Technical Committee.

Acceptance

Abstract meets the requirements for the selected category and is accepted for presentation.

Outcome

Rejection

Abstract does not meet the standards for the selected category.

04 · Certificates

Certificates for Authors & Presenters

Certificate of presentation

Each presenter of an accepted abstract will receive a certificate of presentation once the conference has concluded.
